What I love about good lighting when taking clips of my work
✅ Softer Light: Softboxes diffuse the light from the flash or continuous light source they cover, spreading it over a larger area and creating a softer light. This reduces harsh shadows and can make subjects look more flattering.
✅ Directional Control: Despite the diffusion, softboxes still allow for good control over the direction of light. This helps photographers sculpt the light on their subject and create depth in their images.
✅ Reduced Glare and Hot Spots: By diffusing the light, softboxes help to minimize glare and hot spots that can be distracting in a photo, particularly when photographing reflective surfaces.
✅ Natural-Looking Light: The quality of light produced by a softbox is similar to natural light, making it ideal for portraits and product photography where a natural and appealing aesthetic is desired.
