Post care – Microblading after care | How to
After your microblading session, post care plays an important role for the best healed results to achieve those crispy strokes.
- First day
Today after the treatment you should clean your eyebrows 3 – 5 times with moist cotton provided your artist.This cotton is contains of cleanser and anti bacterial ( Witch Hazel ). This is to calm down and promotes fast recovery of your brows.
- Avoid within a week
Do not allow water, lotion, soap or make-up to come into contact with your eyebrow area for the first 7 days after the procedure.
Gently wash your face around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. When showering, keep your face away from the shower head or take a bath.
Itching and flakiness may develop during the first seven days after the procedure. Avoid picking or scratching as that can release the scabs prematurely and lead to blotchy results or scarring. However, experience has shown that following these aftercare instructions can quickly resolve these symptoms. - Avoid within 30 days.
Increased sweating. Practicing sports
Swimming, Hot Sauna, Hot Bath or Jacuzzi
Tanning in the sun or in the salon
Exposure to UV / UVA rays or chemicals, as is known, causes color shift and premature fading.
Any laser or chemical treatments or peels, and / or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the treatment area.
Picking, peeling, or scratching the micropigment area to avoid scarring the area or removing the pigment
Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or cellar cleaning where there is a lot of debris in the air
Drinking alcohol in excess, as it can lead to slow healing of wounds
Drive open-air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles or motorcycles
Touching the eyebrow area, except when rinsing and applying the care cream with a cotton swab.
